403 Collection reflections The window provides a gateway between the interior and exterior of a home, and is one of the most important elements of architecture. The link between the view of the outside from the inside plays a significant role in defining a room’s character. Windows are like pictures, with the window treatment surrounding them like a portrait, and the drapery hardware enhancing the room’s singular style like a carefully chosen frame. It is the importance of the drapery hardware to the total design scheme of a room that inspired designers Peter Maly and Carsten Gollnick in the creation of the JAB Metropolitan Collection.
