In this lookbook, the renowned architecture and de- sign studios Studio Aisslinger, JOI-Design and LEPEL & LEPEL present inspiring spatial visions in which our new Acoustic Panels and our innovative Acoustic Curtains are used. With the same brief, but completely free in terms of design, the designers have chosen different focal points in order to combine functionality and aesthetics in a variety of ways. STUDIO AISSLINGER DER OPEN WORKSPACE ALS WOHLFÜHLORT THE OPEN WORKSPACE AS A FEEL-GOOD PLACE „Garden of Work“ geht zurück auf ein Konzept, das Studio Aisslinger für sein eigenes neu- es Büro entwickelt hat. Es bildet ab, was beim „social working“ wichtig ist: Nicht nur der Workflow soll funk- tionieren, es sollen Räume entstehen, in denen sich die Menschen wohlfühlen und ihre Projekte wie im „Garten“ idealtypisch bewirtschaften können – ob im Team oder konzentriert für sich. Ein wichtiger Baustein für diese neuen Stimmungen sind die textilen Akustiklösungen mit innovativen Farben, Materialien und Oberflächen. Dieses Idealszenario ist international gedacht. Es könn- te in Europa oder in Südamerika und Asien spielen. “Garden of Work” is based on a concept that Studio Aisslinger developed for its own new office. It reflects what is important in “social working”: not only should workflows function, but spaces should be comfortable and encourage people to cultivate their projects as if they were in a “garden” − whether they are working in a team or with an individual focus. Textile acoustic solutions with innovative colours, materials and surfaces are important building blocks for these new atmospheres. This ideal scenario is interna- tionally conceived. It could play out equally well in Eu- rope, South America or Asia.

15 GARDEN OF WORK STIMMUNGSVOLLE KOMBINATIONEN ATMOSPHERIC COMBINATIONS „Garden of Work“ verfolgt einen textilen, warmen Ansatz. Die Conference-Units sind in- nen und außen mit Acoustic Panels versehen und brin- gen auch die 3D-Formen SHAPE Circle ins Spiel. Der Coworking-Bereich wird vom Vorhangsystem GUARD umhüllt. Die Kombination von Paneelen und Vorhängen bietet kreative Möglichkeiten, Räume zielgerichteter und stimmungsvoller zu gestalten und gleichzeitig Fle- xibilität zu wahren. “Garden of Work” takes a warm, textile approach. The conference units are fitted with Acoustic Panels inside and out and also bring the 3D forms SHAPE Circle into play. The co-work- ing area is enveloped by the GUARD curtain system. The combination of panels and curtains offers creative pos- sibilities for designing rooms in a more targeted and at- mospheric way while maintaining flexibility.

JOI-DESIGN INSPIRIERENDE ORTE DER BEGEGNUNG INSPIRING PLACES OF ENCOUNTER „Third Places“ sind inspirierende Orte der Zukunft, jenseits des Zuhauses und des Büros. Sie bieten Raum für das soziale Mitei- nander, für Kommunikation und Vernetzung. Der Third Place kann auch im Hotel entstehen, als Co-Working- Zone zwischen Lobby und Konferenzbereich. So trifft die Raumvision „Modern Library“ eine Vorstellung von mo- dernen Bibliotheken, in denen neben stillem Lesen und Lernen ein lebendiger Wissensaustausch möglich ist. “Third places” are inspiring places of the future, beyond the home and the office. They offer space for social interaction, commu- nication and networking. A third place can also be cre- ated in a hotel, as a coworking zone between the lob- by and conference area. The “Modern Library” spatial vision thus captures the idea of a space where a live- ly exchange of knowledge is possible alongside quiet reading and learning.

27 MODERN LIBRARY IM SPANNUNGSFELD VON INTERAKTION UND RÜCKZUG INTERACTION AND RETREAT BETWEEN THE POLES OF Die visuelle und akustische Gestaltung der „Modern Library“ schafft eine Atmosphäre des Lernens und fördert sowohl Konzentration als auch Interaktion. Hinter den akustischen Vorhängen verbergen sich Rückzugszonen für Meetings, Telefonate oder einen Power-Nap. Wände und Decken der Lobby Lounge sind mit Acoustic Panels belegt, um den Bereich visuell zu definieren und die Akustik zu optimieren. The visual and acoustic design of the “Modern Library” creates an atmosphere of learn- ing and promotes both concentration and interaction. The acoustic curtains conceal retreat zones for meet- ings, phone calls or a power nap. The walls and ceilings of the Lobby Lounge are covered with Acoustic Panels to visually define the area and optimize the acoustics.

Ro- buste Strukturen werden freigelegt für ein Multispace- Büro mit Gastronomie, Eventflächen, Kinderbetreuung und Serviceflächen. So entsteht im Sinne des New Work Order ein optimales Umfeld für Know-how-Transfer, so- ziale Kontakte und kreative Prozesse. Abandoned department stores offer the ideal setting for a sustainable vision of workspaces in an urban context. Robust structures are exposed for a multi-space office with restaurants, event areas, childcare and service zones. This creates an ideal environment for know-how transfer, social con- tacts and creative processes in line with the New Work Order.

LEPEL & LEPEL MIT FARBEN UNTERSTÜTZEN SUPPORT WITH COLORS Die als „Third Skin“ defi- nierten Strukturen schaffen variable Raumsituationen mit hoher Absorption und Abschirmung von Geräu- schen, die Konzentration mitten im Geschehen ermög- lichen: der freihängende, blickdichte Raumtrenner GUARD und die zarten Vorhänge SILENCER. Im Farb- code vermittelt ein sattes Violett ein Gefühl von Sicher- heit. Dazu kommt ein intensives Gelb, das Kommunika- tion und kognitive Kreativität unterstützt. Textile structures, defined as the “third skin”, create variable room situations with a high level of absorption and noise shielding, allowing concentration in the midst of action: the free-hanging, opaque GUARD room divider and the delicate SILENCER curtains. In the colour code, a rich violet conveys a feel- ing of security. This is complemented by an intense yel- low that supports communication and cognitive crea- tivity.
